FWD Supports Consumers Pursuing Passion Through Press Play Campaign

Medan, 25 October 2022 – PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”) invites consumers to pursue their pending passions through the Press play campaigns which has started since September to December 2022. Through this series of campaigns, FWD Insurance continues its commitment in changing the way people think about insurance, as a source of empowerment to celebrate living.

Rudy Franto Manik, Chief HR & Marketing Officer of FWD Insurance said, “FWD Insurance believes that passion is very essential in everyone's life. By having passion, one can live life more enthusiastically and be more positive. Therefore, we would like to inspire our consumers to pursue their passions, and to celebrate living through press play, in which insurance plays a role as the support system to achieve the desired passion.”

FWD Insurance launched Press Play campaign which id inspired by true stories of people who dared to pursue their lives’ passions. Aside from that, FWD Insurance also encourages its consumers to pursue their passions through the #FWDPressPlayHunt, to find people with inspirational stories in their daily lives. These inspiring stories are divided into six categories, namely: Press play on new beat, Press play on possibilities, Press play on family, Press play on courage, Press play on happiness, and Press play on well-being. The campaign will be conducted digitally through Instagram platform by self-nominating or nominating someone else who has any inspiring story in pursuing their passion. There will be 14 people with a chance to win prizes, such as iPhone 14, Sony ZV-14 Camera, Traveloka Voucher worth IDR 4,000,000, Traveloka Voucher worth IDR 2,000,000, and 10 OVO Vouchers worth IDR 200,000/each for the most inspiring stories out of the 6 Press Play categories.

Bringing up an inspirational story #FWDPressPlayHunt in Medan, FWD insurance introduces Martahan Sitohang, a Batak artist who pursued his dream in regenerating Bataknese culture through a musical performance said, "Music has been my passion since I was a child and I found myself getting more interested in it when I took Ethnomusicology as my major in university. This modern era has led to numerous changes and to the fading Bataknese culture especially in the younger generation. It doesn’t deter me and instead awakened my passion to regenerate local music through my musical performance. However, I have some worries to pursue it as a permanent career, as it’s hard to survive as a traditional music artist. But, with consistency and support from the closest people, he can overcome all these challenges.”

Continuing the Press Play campaign, FWD Insurance presents music activity, Press Play Music, as universal language in a karaoke format that combines a collaboration of singers and DJ/influencers in various big cities in Indonesia such as Medan, Surabaya, Bandung and Jakarta. On this occasion Press Play Music will invite Ucup Pop and Bams who will engage the people of Medan to celebrate life.
