FWD Insurance opens an independent marketing offices in Sulawesi

PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a customer-led and digitally enabled life insurance company in Indonesia, is expanding access of FWD Insurance’s products by opening two independent marketing offices in Manado, North Sulawesi and Makassar, South Sulawesi.

Praveen Paladugu, Chief of Distribution Strategy FWD Insurance said, "Combined with our growing agency force in Sulawesi, the new independent marketing offices will provide easy access to protection solutions for customers. We are committed to promoting financial inclusion in Indonesia by making insurance easy - easy to know, easy to buy, easy to claim, easy to engage, and most importantly, easy to love.”

According to the Financial Service Authority (OJK) data, the current index of financial inclusion in North Sulawesi and South Sulawesi is relatively good, with a percentage above the national average of 85.10%. Throughout 2023, FWD Insurance has opened 19 independent marketing offices, including the city of Manado and Makassar, aligning with the Financial Services Authority's (OJK) programmes to increase financial inclusion to 90% by 2024.”

Below is the list of the newly launched FWD Insurance’s independent marketing offices in Sulawesi:

• Manado: Mega Mas Blok 1 C2 No. 43 Jl. Pierre Tendean Komplek Ruko Megamas Boulevard, Manado, North Sulawesi

• Makassar: Business Park B2, Cluster Business Park, Blok BPB2/10, Citraland City Losari Makassar Kel. Mariso, Kec Tamalate, Makassar, South Sulawesi

As part of the opening independent marketing office, social activities such as blood donation & health talk were held in Manado.
