We offer optional additional cover as follows:
- Extra cover if you have a disability due to an accident 
 You can get extra coverage if you sever or lose a limb(s) or suffer irreversible loss of vision and/or hearing as a result of an accident. Note that these must have occurred within 30 days of the accident happening and your medical records should show that these outcomes should have continued for up to 180 days from the date of the accident. 
- Extra cover for reimbursement of medical expenses following an accident  
If an accident means you need medical treatment either inside or outside a hospital (within 180 days of the accident happening) this add-on will reimburse an additional 10% of the sum insured - for each incident, up to the plan’s limits (see full policy terms). This add-on covers 5 incidents per policy year.

Please note that if you’re entitled to a reimbursement of part or all of your medical expenses from any other insurers (or another source), FWD will pay the difference.

There are information, data, and statements that do not match the actual conditions or conditions unless the Policy has been valid for more than 2 years from the date the Policy is effective or reinstated, whichever is the last. This provision does not apply if it can be proven (without a court decision) that the discrepancy contains elements of fraud.

Cancellation of the policy will result in the cessation of your insurance protection as well.
